If there’s something that I can see in a city, be sure that I have to go! Someone said Farmers’ Market??? where where where… What a wonderful news, it’s 10 minutes from home! Every Sunday from 10am to 3pm if you are in Fourways area in Johannesburg, visit the bio Farmers’ Market! It’s located in the nursery between William Nicol Drive and Monte Casino Boulevard.
Unfortunately the car park has limited spaces and it’s always full, if you decide to park inside please be careful! it’s full of potholes and drops in the ground and you can literally leave your car’s front bumper there (as I saw it!!!)
At Fourways Farmers’ Market you can have a nice breakfast, lunch of the famous brunch with an organic products. Most of the stands offer something delicious to taste but you can find some products to buy, like homemade bread, jam, meat, honey… all organic of course!
In between a taste and the other you can relax and eat in amazing straw rolls or wood tables that give you to the environment a nice homely and familiar touch.
If you have children there’s also a park where they can play together.
Here’s a list of some stands that you can find there, and enjoy your stay!!
